A Pair of Benches
You always need an extra seat. Benches are everywhere right now because they are so practical. They can easily be tucked under a console, coffee table or in front of sofa or fireplace. Since they tend to be small, they provide a great opportunity to use a dramatic fabric or leather. The yardage needed is also minimal, so it allows the opportunity to use a fabric you fell in love with, but may be out of the budget for now. I was so pleased with the outcome of these benches from Port 68. They were customized with Schumacher’s Middleton linen in biscuit, framed with Samuel & Sons Greek Key in Brick/Gold. The width of the greek key border gives a modern spin to this very classic timeless design. The colors were selected to pick up colors from the room’s area rug.
